With the release of v11 Axosoft has quietly changed its Authentication method for the OnTime users to OpenAuth. This will affect ANY third party and custom developed software that makes use of the OnTime SDK UserService Web Service HashPassword() method
Axosoft confirmed in a Support inquiry that it will no longer support User Password Authentication with this Method and suggests to drop any validation in custom applications.

Today we officially released v1.6 of our Enterprise Customer Portal for axosoft® OnTime™. This is an exciting release that contains many new features and improvements next to bug fixes. Included in this release is also the first version of the Back-Office Portal that has been anxiously awaited.

The Training Subsidy Scheme, part of the ESF Funded Employability Programme, aims to assist self-employed persons and persons employed in micro-enterprises of 10 or less employees, apprentices, the unemployed, NGO and Local Council employees to develop their skills by participating in further off-the-job vocational education and training.
The Training Subsidy Scheme offers assistance in the form of a training grant to aid participants with costs related to training. This grant will be awarded to the individuals after successful completion of their training.

Today Roy Opperman launched his Business Website (http://www.forestip.com) which will be complimenting his existing Business.
The website will help increase awareness and provide automation and efficiency to agencies and companies alike that have to deal with Intellectual Property Rights. The site features a section to cover frequently asked questions and some sample reports to help illustrate what the service is all about.
A potential customer can make an inquiry for a Patent and once the report is available receives an email with a reference code that he can use to preview the report online and subsequently buy and download.
Many additional improvements such as an online index of all existing patent reports and previews are planned and are already being worked on for a release in the near future.
Wildgras Co. Ltd. is currently preparing to launch a new service called the Webmaster Workshop. This service is aimed at individuals and businesses that are aiming to launch or update their online presence. The workshop will not only provide a complete holistic understanding of all the aspects of setting up and running an online website but also exercise the entire process hands-on.

As these workshops will be provided all around Europe we are currently investigating current EU subsidy schemes that provide up to 75% subsidy for seminars. We will post the results on the Webmaster Workshop page highlighting in which EU countries this workshop qualifies for the subsidy scheme.
Now and then I meet business owners who don't have a web presence and I ask myself why and - in case they had considered one - what made them decide against it.
For someone like me who has been working with Technology and Computers for more than 25 years it only seems a natural choice to have a web presence for my business as I can only perceive benefits. When I then question these business owners to get a better understanding it becomes quickly clear that many don't have the same understanding and perception of the Internet and therefore can't find any direct or measurable benefits in investing any money in it.

Every business performs Marketing in one form or another and looking back at the history of Marketing and mediums (radio, television, movies, newspapers, magazines, posters, etc.) it is not surprising that the Internet and Email has been rapidly adapted and embraced as a new medium for Marketing.
